Sample Analysis Services

The MicroCal applications laboratory in Northampton, MA can run samples on a fee-for-service basis for investigators in North America.  Investigators receive a comprehensive consultation and sample analysis run on one of MicroCal's ultrasensitive calorimeters.  This service offers investigators a complete thermodynamic profile of their biomolecule to determine whether calorimetry or a particular MicroCal instrument will be a useful analytical tool for their specific sample or application.

For a fee-per-sample, investigators receive the following:

  • Pre-sample consultation
    • Outline of experimental procedure
    • Define scope and objective of analysis
    • Procedure on how to prepare sample
  • Post-sample consultation outlines and addresses validity of results
    • Customized report containing data and analysis
    • Follow-up results discussion with Technical Services Scientist
